Maiken Bent (b. 1980) lives and works in Vordingborg, Denmark.
She holds a MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, 2006.
She has exhibited among other places at Louisiana - Museum of Modern Art, KW - Institute of Contemporary Art, Berlin, ARoS, Kunsthal Oslo, KUNSTEN - Museum of Modern Art, Gl. Holtegaard, Yves Klein Archives, Paris, Den Frie - Center of Contemporary Art and SKMU, Kristiansand.
Her works are included in the public collections at Louisiana - Museum of Modern Art, ARoS, KUNSTEN - Museum of Modern Art, HEART - Museum of Contemporary Art, Sorø Kunstmuseum, SKMU - Sørlandet Art Museum, Ny Carlsbergfondet and The Danish Arts Foundation.
